I am a stay at home Mommy-preneur. I have a three-year old son, a two-year old son and our first little princess arrived in May. I am passionate about helping mentor other mothers who desire to create a healthy, wholesome lifestyle for their families. In addition to blogging I pursue this passion by investing in the moms in my church’s MOM’s group and in the moms in our local homeschool group.
Since I was a young girl I knew God was calling me to be a wife & mother. This dream was put on hold for many years as He shaped and refined me in the corporate world and when His time was perfect He blessed me with the ability to fulfill His best purposes in my life. There is no higher calling for me than to be my husband’s wife and my children’s mother.
Proverbs 31:27-29 describes a wife and mother whose example I strive to follow “She oversees the care of her house. She is never lazy. Her children say good things about her. Her husband brags about her and says, ‘There are many good women, but you are the best.’”
Overseeing the care of my household involves maintaining healthy lifestyles mentally, physically, and spiritually for my family. I try to do this by providing health homemade meals, managing our finances well, maintaining a close relationship with Christ, continuing my education and educating my family. My blog shares various ways that I try to follow this example as I oversee the care of my household.
Meet my family:
Me and my wonderful husband. He works so hard to provide for us and I’m so thankful this has enabled me to stay home with our kids.
Our oldest, I love this photo because it shows the joy that is usually radiating from him, as well as the little glint that says “I’m probably about to get into some mischief” which he usually is!
Our middle child was a middle child before I was even pregnant again! He is a sweet, calm, laid back little peacemaker. He adores his baby sister and wants to be just like his big brother, minus the consequences of his mischief!
Our newest sweet addition, she loves to be cuddled and is content to allow her brothers and Daddy to worship her.
