I have always heard of the Aztec Indians adding chili to their hot cocoa & wondered what it would be like. I have never been quit brave enough to try it. However, when I came across a recipe for chocolate cookies that had chili in them I couldn’t resist trying them, with my own little spin of course. Wow! These were awesome & if you love chocolate but have trouble limiting yourself to” just one” you should try these cookies. The heat is not overpowering but it does help curb your sweet tooth to just a few (yeah, I still couldn’t eat “just one” but I didn’t eat as many in one sitting, so definite improvement!) These cookies go awesome with a glass of cold milk.
